About Me

I am Masaki Magack, a proud Pan-Africanist from Riakworo-Gesima, Nyamira County, Kenya. My academic journey has shaped my passion for communication, with a PhD in Media Studies (in progress) at Daystar University, building on my master’s in Digital Communication from USIU-Africa and a bachelor’s in Mass Communication from St. Paul’s University. I specialize in understanding how media, culture, and digital trends influence society, grounded in critical theories and Afrocentric perspectives.

Professional Experience

My career spans journalism, radio, and digital marketing, where I’ve served as Deputy Head of Radio and Head of Productions at USIU Radio 99.9FM, Marketing Communications Manager for several organizations, and a social media strategist. I’ve also hosted engaging programs like Morning Madness and Sports Zone, contributed as a co-host on Mambo Mseto, and appeared on Citizen TV, Nation TV, and KTN as a panelist discussing digital communication, youth mentorship, and Afrocentric issues.
